What we teach
Judo
meaning "gentle way", is a modern Japanese
martial art and combat sport.Its most prominent
feature is its competitive element, where the object
is to either throw one's opponent to the ground,
immobilize or otherwise subdue one's opponent
with a grappling maneuver
Jiu-Jitsu
is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling
and especially ground fighting with the goal of gaining a
dominant position and using joint-locks and chokeholds to
force an opponent to submit.
Russian Sambo
The word CAMBO(SAMBO) is an acronym of
САМозащита Без Оружия (SAMozashchita Bez
Oruzhiya) meaning "self-defense without a
weapon" in Russian. Sport Sambo (Borba Sambo)
is stylistically similar to amateur wrestling or Judo.
The competition is similar to Judo, but with some
differences in rules, protocol, and uniform.

We have added additional classes to
our MMA training. The classes will now
be offered on Monday Wednesday and
Friday nights at 8:15 pm. Also
Wednesday and Saturday morning
classes at 9am will be available.
